Child Support

This article spoke of how Danny Platt murdered his 2 year old son. They think his motive was getting out of paying $4,000 in backed child support. Platt Picked Ja 'Shawn to spend the weekend with him then killed him Friday night then lied to his ex-wife and authorities about what happened. He later confessed to the murder.

What kind of person does that. He said he would either kill his wife or child. This is kind of bad to say but she is your ex wife for a reason but you pick your only child to kill instead. There is something else going on here than just wanting to get out of his child support. Living with the thought you killed your child has to be haunting, I have know idea how he could do that knowing perfectly well what he was doing and knowing he was responsible. what kind of monster can do something like this. Kill a person, kill a child, kill your own child. Make better decisions earlier in your life so you never have to face a decision like this one.

Obama and McCain's Debate

In this article McCain and Obama's debate that almost didn't happen on Friday started out by talking politely about the economic crisis and then started getting catty when it came to the issue of the middle east. the called each others opinions and plans wrong and pointed out problems in today's government plan and each others. A lot of this debate was about the plan for the Middle East and the Economy. There was no clear winner.

Seriously it is time for a flood kill everyone off and start over. The two grown men that are campaigning for presidency are acting like junior high girls they are catty mean and put the other down to make them selves feel better. Honestly politics sickens me, i understand that we apparently need it to run our government but it is the stupidest thing ever. All it is, is a bunch of people arguing with each other on who can do something better, when the truth is neither one of them can do it. We as Americans are so stuck up snobs that we think we can walk all over people and no know is going to stick up for them selves well i hate to break it to you but that's how we have gotten ourselves in to every jam that is in our history books. This hole democracy thing worked when we were civil and wanted the best for the nation now all we want is the best for our selves.

Voting Early

This article talked about early and absentee ballot voting for the 2008 presidential election. It shows that more and more states are bending the rules on early voting. More and more people are registering to vote early in some states it has already started and it is still September. There is a lot of controversy about this issue do to the fact that it leaves the voting premises and immediately looses some of its safety.
I think that early voting is okay in some situations but with 40% of people in Arizona voting absentee, there is not half the state gone on November 4th. I understand that people may be on vacation or are at college or business but not have of Arizona. Personally if you are to lazy to drag your but out of your house to go and give your voice to decide who is going to run your country don't vote at all. I understand stand lines suck I wouldn't want to stand in a hot long line for 20 minutes either but the fact that you know that your vote counts and you know that your voice is herd, you better get off you lazy but and get down there and vote. Its a free country you don't have to vote but you have every right to so f you want to vote show some respect and don't do it in the comfort of you lazy boy.

Presidential Candidates take a Break for 9/11

This article talks about how Obama and McCain are taking a break and honoring this day with families and friends of the lost, and emergency response personal that served on that tragic day. The have suspended all TV commercials that insulted the others ideas. The both will be present at a wreath laying ceremony in the hole at Ground Zero. They all are making special appearances at different sites to commemorate the 7th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the United States of America.
I think that it is good they are taking a break form their campaigning. On one of the saddest days in American history the people that will be running are country should not be trying to tear others down they should be boosting up our faith in this country and bring each and everyone of us together and united as the citizens of the United States of America. They also started to bash our president and each other before today. By NO means do I agree with President Bush and what he has done to this country in the last 8 years but if the future president of this country feels like he needs to tear down the current president to make him look better, then he needs to work on his people skills. I think today's politics are the stupidest thing ever. They focus today more on how the Republican candidate and the vice president candidate hug than how they will take care of world relationships. The candidates tear each other down more than we tear terrorism down. It is more or less one big popularity contest. The reason that they have changed this way is because they aren't confident enough with their own ideas and views that they need to mask them with stupid crap that know one cares about. because they aren't sure of them selves.

Palin's View Count Higher than Most

This article was all about the astounding numbers of views Palin's broadcast of her speach at the Republican National Convention on wednesday. She had a huge audience of 40 million people all the larger TV networks were just amazed at how many people watched. They said this was the third largest TV audience ever, larger than the Acadamy Awards TV audience and the finally of American Idol. 2 million more women than men watched her speach. The compared Obama numbers and hers with Obama at 38.4 million and Palin at 37.2 million. People are expecting a larger voter turn out this year especially from young adults, minorities, and women.

I think it is wonderful that people care and want to hear what she has to say I can see her going very far with her political career. I watched part of it on wednesday night and I really liked some of the things she said. She really can see what the people want. At times it seemed like she was talking she self up to much but that is what politions do. I hope one day she can be VP or President for that matter I she seems like she could do great things for this country, but I don't think this is her time. She is 44 years old, she had 5 kids ranging form 19 to 19 months. I really don't care about her pregnant daughter it happens everyday people just don't see it becuase its not slapped all over C-SPAN, I am sorry for he down syndrom babby but again it happens everyday. I honestly think McCain is looking more for a pitty vote for the pregnant girls mom and that down syndrom babies. I do think that he likes her view and agrees with some but I see it more of a slimmy trick than a well thought out decision. I think it would do her much more good if she raised her kids for the next 15 years and then took a crack at President herself I am not against Women in the White House but I am against choosing work over your family. Being Vice President you don't get MEA you don't get Christmas vacation, spring break you can't call in sick becuase your kid has the flu. being the VP the USA is your family and you need to raise the people of the US. If you havent finished raising your family how can you even start to try to raise the citizins of the United States of America.
